Necatibey Primary School, a public primary school, is located in İstanbul.

The project team with 10 members of teachers is selected by the Principal because of their specific interests, skills and certificates on related issues such as creative drama, and stress and anger management. Our counselors participate to many trainings about coaching and one-to-one guidance, etc. One of the school counselor also has an awarded study on addiction. The school pays attention to the usage of ICT in class activities so that the principal has bought notebook computers for all teachers to use at the school and at home in order to improve the quality of education and also to expand an access to learning opportunities.
The school has been enrolled in many nationwide projects for many years. Our music teacher has a "Bridges through the Europe from the  Asia" project within the scope of Istanbul 2010 European Cultural Capital City. She and her choir performed two successful concerts in European and Asian sides of Istanbul. On the other hand, we are the members of the "Little Writers at the School" and "Writers at the school" projects of the Ministry of National Education.
We have already had some experiences in regarding bullying at school. Our counselors have also been making sample surveys regularly in the school to update the information about the school environment.

Furthermore, some teachers of the project team have got a drama certificate which would be used in the project to provide opportunity for students to socialize with their peers to communicate, negotiate, for the purpose of understanding each other and accordingly to socialise with their peers. So empahty is the most important matter in the project. Moreover in the project we will organize national chilhood game tournaments, visual art competition and music competition to build a meaningful bond especially between the school and the bullies who generally pay little attention to academic achievements. They will be carried out with the purpose that the school  offers them something they are afraid to lose, if they behave in contravention of the school principles such as successes in games, visual art or music.
